Zero 2 Infinity Unveils Its Plans for Balloon-Powered Space Flight
The first tourism pod of its kind made in Europe.
Zero 2 Infinity has revealed the final design of its ‘bloon’ pod. The company, which is based in Barcelona and specialises in private space transportation, first announced the creation back in 2011. The ’bloon’ pod aims to offer a ‘near space experience’ with a reusable pod and helium-inflated balloon that helps avoid hurting the environment, with Zero 2 Infinity having worked with Elisava school of design and engineering on the plans for the pod. This is the first tourism pod of its kind made in Europe, using ergonomic shapes, lighting and next-gen materials, as well as panoramic windows that ensure travellers will never forget this experience. You can book a flight for yourself at Zero 2 Infinity’s website.
