Watch The Riveting Trailer for Stephen King’s 'Mr. Mercedes'
Coming this August.
The first trailer for the upcoming Audience drama Mr. Mercedes, based on Stephen King’s novel of the same name, has been released. The trailer gives a glimpse of what to expect from the series, which follows a retired detective (played by Brendan Gleeson) attempt to stop a historic serial killer, played in the series by Harry Treadaway. As well as teasing the cat and mouse games that made the book so popular, this trailer also announces that the series will premiere on August 9 after numerous setbacks had delayed the release date. Mr. Mercedes is just one Stephen King adaptation that is set to hit our screens in 2017, with The Mist recently arriving, and The Dark Tower starring Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey set to release in August.
