The World Is Your Oyster's 2018 Spring/Summer Collection Is About Careless Living

Hong Kong-based menswear label The World Is Your Oyster has released its 2018 spring/summer collection, which channels the style of carefree living. Featuring oversized and uniquely cut workwear-inspired garments, the collection impersonates the formal tailoring of menswear and the youthful negligence of unkempt clothing. Crinkle, pleated and folded fabrics are used throughout the range, while intentional inside-out details and stitching adds to the laid-back styling. Other details include slogans that are flipped horizontally, so that can be read easily in mirror reflections. Messages such as “YOU CAN’T PLEASE ALL” and “CARE LESS” act “as a conversation and a reminder to the wearer to be their true selves,” expresses the label.
