SZA has backed her TDE label-mate Kendrick Lamar in the controversy surrounding the lyrics to his single “Humble.” When the single was released, Kendrick came under fire for some of the lyrics, particularly a section that many people thought was Kendrick telling women what they need to do to be attractive. I find more comfort and solace with Kendrick reinforcing that I’m beautiful. I don’t really feel anything misogynistic from that.”
