This Trailer for the Upcoming 'Rocko's Modern Life' Movie Is Nostalgia at Its Best

Prepare for more nostalgia, Rocko’s Modern Life is getting a one-hour TV movie due next year, and a trailer for it has been revealed at Comic-Con. The trailer picks up immediately after the final canonical episode with Rocko, Heffer, and Filburt returning home after a trip to the future. However, they are now in present time and must adapt to the American lifestyle of the 21st century. The sneak peek is chock full of hot takes on technology, energy drinks, and coffee house chains. There’s even a tongue-in-cheek gag on Hollywood’s obsession with reboots emphasized by Rocko now joining the club.
Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling will air on Nickelodeon in 2018.
