New photos of CLOT‘s latest collaboration with Converse for a pair of One Stars have just surfaced. The photos were posted courtesy of @s.sam.group, and reveals some hairy suede in the upper. The colorway has a well-balanced composition of black and white, which reflects the eastern symbols found on the midsole. On the inner-midsole, there are also Simplified Chinese characters that come from the Analects of Confucius, and roughly translate to “Ancient scholars for themselves, today’s Scholars for people.” The reference goes back to the Confucian thought process that the search for knowledge should be motivated by ones self rather than the recognition of others.

Be sure to keep up with the latest footwear releases here.
