Z ZEGNA’s 2018 Spring/Summer Collection Takes On a Nautical Theme
Mixing double-breasted suits with technical outerwear.
For its 2018 spring/summer collection, shown at this season’s Pitti Uomo in Florence, Z ZEGNA took inspiration from the wonders of the sea. With pieces including ocean-ready bags, rubber boots and even an all-yellow fisherman style look, the nautical influence is a clear thread throughout the collection from the famous Italian brand. The brand’s history of tailoring is also present for spring/summer, with double-breasted suit jackets featuring alongside the technical outerwear and waterproof trousers. Finally, the collection’s color palette mixes neutral and brighter tones, with yellow and orange pieces sitting alongside more traditional colors such as navy and military greens to round things out.
