Backstage at Thom Browne's 2018 Spring/Summer Collection Where Bold Suiting Was of the Essence
Wide-cropped blazers were elegantly paired with matching skirts.

Not long ago, Thom Browne unveiled his 2018 spring/summer collection at Paris Fashion Week Men’s. The elegant assemblage was comprised of elegant suiting with unconventional tailoring. Double-breasted blazers were paired eloquently with elongated pleated skirts embellished with contrast stripes. Not to mention, a slew of pieces were festooned with vibrant, embroidered graphics that complement the aesthetic of the warm-season wear.
However, the collection did not exude the whimsicality that we’ve grown accustomed to in Thom Browne’s signature design cues. It’s devoid of theatrics and unnecessary ornamentation. Rather, it was a display of clever tailoring and execution with wide-cropped sportcoats sitting comfortably above the waist-line.
