adidas Introduces an UltraBOOST-Inspired Trainer
Meet the 24/7 Trail.
The Cloudfoam Ultra Zen was one of adidas‘s most unexpected hits last fall and now the German sportswear giant is looking to catch lightning in a bottle with another plush new silhouette: the 24/7 Trail. Essentially an UltraBOOST-inspired trainer shoe, the new trainer is perfect for both warming up and cooling down and boasts a breathable mesh bootie, molded external heel counter and midfoot cage — design cues with clear nods to adi’s most popular runner — along with a lightweight EVA midsole and molded sockliner. The most noteworthy components, however, are undoubtedly the split tongue and the perforations of the aforementioned cage, which work together to provide a customizable fit that adapts to the wearer’s foot.
Debuting in a clean marled grey colorway with black accents and a stark white sole unit, the 24/7 Trainer is available now via Sneaker Politics for $100 USD while supplies last.
