STAMPD Drops Modern Yet Ancient Capsule Collection for 'The Mummy'
“Design has no boundaries.”
The Mummy started showing in theaters last week and today Chris Stamp and his brand STAMPD drop its collaborative collection release for the film. The limited edition capsule features nine pieces which were inspired and designed with the film and its cinematic directive in mind. Included in the collection are a Vestige Jacket and Pants combo, a sandblasted Mummy Flex Bomber with straps and pockets, a translucent “Hell Hath No Fury” Trench and black and white Inscription Jeans. To achieve a vintage look, the pieces were distressed by hand and feature both sand and stone washes.
Stamp had this to say about working with Universal Studios collectively on this capsule:
Design has always been a broad, yet decisive concept for me. Design has no boundaries. As I have deep roots in LA, film has always been an industry I’ve wanted to explore. When I was introduced to the modern yet ancient design aesthetic of The Mummy, I knew a creative collaboration with the film would give me a new platform to draw inspiration and that has given us the opportunity to take our designs and prints to a different level.
The collection is currently available at STAMPD’s flagship store below and will be available on stampd.com tomorrow, June 17.
