Gosha Rubchinskiy Will Launch New "Tokyo" Photo Book at DSM Ginza
Spotlighting street-cast models from the Japanese capital.
Gosha Rubchinskiy will soon release a new photo book at Dover Street Market Ginza titled Tokyo. The modish tome features a bevy of street-cast models from the Japanese capital. “I did not want to make it a strong picture of commercial elements, I wanted it to feel more familiar by placing my clothes on the real fashion of Japanese young people,” the Russian designer expressed in a statement. Pages upon pages, the young fashionable bunch — scouted from skate parks all around the district — can be seen donning a slew of premium wares from Gosha’s 2017 fall/winter lookbook, which was unveiled not long ago.
All in all, the photo book is an homage to DSM Ginza’s fifth anniversary this year. Preview Tokyo above and expect an official launch on June 17 at DSM Ginza and select retailers for approximately $45 USD.
