After making its heroic return to Nike‘s sneaker lineup last November, the Air Max 2 Uptempo has had a variety of colorways dedicated to its basketball past. And now it will continue to do so with the announcement of a new colorway for the shoe. Made famous by Ray Allen during his time at the University of Connecticut, the model boasts a white leather body complimented with black accents along the mid and outsole. The sneaker also features black hits on the tongue, laces, pull tab and the signature Swoosh logo along the side. Other notable features include the white “Air Max” logo at the top of the tongue and the air bubble sitting beneath the heel, made famous by other models of the Air Max.
The new Nike Air Max 2 Uptempo colorway will be available in Asia on July 1 through select Nike retailers, with a worldwide release date of August 3.
