Jake Gyllenhaal Stars in Intense Boston Marathon Bombings Biopic 'Stronger'

The first trailer for Jake Gyllenhaal‘s latest film Stronger hit the web today. Chronicling the Boston Marathon bombings, the biopic stars Jake Gyllenhaal as survivor Jeff Bauman. Bauman lost both of his legs during the 2013 bombings, and in the aftermath, has to struggle through a difficult rehab process.
Stronger is based on Bauman’s 2014 autobiography of the same name. The film, which also stars Miranda Richardson and Clancy Brown as Bauman’s mother and father, is set to hit theaters September 22.
