Earlier this month, adidas and Parley unleashed a duo of designs — UltraBOOST Uncaged and UltraBOOST X — which took aim at addressing the coral bleaching crisis threatening many of the globe’s open waters. Communicating a widespread message detailing the importance of eliminating plastic pollution waste, both designs took on a symbolic icy blue/clean white color palette motif. Choosing to lead by example, the pair put their money where their mouths are as both UltraBOOST iterations incorporate approximately 11 plastic bottles into its make up. Each retailing for $197 USD, the UltraBOOST Uncaged will make its way to participating adidas retailers and online, while the UltraBOOST X will be available through Solebox as of June 28.
