The Rock Hints at Black Adam Battle With Shazam & Superman
The antihero’s debut in the DC Extended Universe.
After Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was announced as the DC Extended Universe‘s Black Adam, fans were excited to see the antihero go up against his rival Shazam, but many wondered if Adam would also go up against Superman. In a recent interview with Fandango, The Rock let fans know that Black Adam will indeed square off against Shazam and the Man of Steel in the future. “One fine day… that’s coming, that’s in the cards” was what The Rock stated when talking about the debut of his character. No official information regarding Black Adam’s debut has been released just yet, but reports note that Shazam! is expected to release in April of 2019.
