PUMA Pays Tribute to Walt Frazier's Hometown With the Clyde "Atlanta" Pack
Coming in the city’s blue and yellow colors.
Walt “Clyde” Frazier may have made his name playing for the New York Knicks, but he originally hailed from Atlanta, Georgia. For its latest Clyde drop, PUMA has paid tribute to the birthplace of the man who the silhouette is named after. The pack includes two sneakers, coming in alternate “Dandelion Yellow” and “True Blue” colorways that reference the city’s colors, and featuring an all-over phoenix motif to commemorate the Great Atlanta Fire that razed the city 100 years ago. The PUMA Clyde “Atlanta” pack is dropping on May 25 from the German brand’s web store.
As well as honoring Walt Frazier’s birthplace, PUMA has recently made an homage to the birth of hip-hop with its SUPER PUMA pack.
