Nike Introduces the Vaporfly Elite, Which You Can't Actually Buy
But you can try your luck at winning them.

Yesterday, Nike’s Breaking2 project ambitiously attempted to have three runners complete a marathon in under two hours. In conjunction with the campaign, the Swoosh has introduced its newest Vaporfly Elites, considered to be the most innovative shoe Nike has ever made. This rendition appears to be a slightly modified version of the Zoom Vaporfly Elite that was unveiled back in March, keeping the ZoomX midsole but sporting a lower ankle collar. Constructed by collaborating with top-notch runners, the footwear fuses “cutting-edge technology and historic ambition.” However, Nike has announced that these sneakers will not be available for sale. Instead, people can win a pair by downloading the Nike+ Run Club app and running a global 5k either on Sunday, May 7 or May 14 for its “Just Do It” initiative. For official rules and details, head over to Nike to learn more.
