Nike's LGBT Rainbow "Be True" Flyknit Racer Releases Next Week
Just in time for Pride Month.
In early March, we were gifted with a first look at Nike’s new Flyknit Racer for its annual “Be True” collection, which supports the LGBT community. The colorful iteration features a black and white colorway, similar to the OG pair, with a rainbow Swoosh on the lateral side and a solid pink Swoosh on the medial. A “Be True” logo on the tongues adds the final touch. The Nike Flyknit Racer “Be True” as well as the entire Be True collection is set for a release on June 1 for $150 USD.
Nike’s “Be True” collection has always be seen with controversy, even dealing with a Russian lawmaker seeking a ban on the shoes. The 2015 release of the “Be True” Nike Sock Dart can still be found selling for around $400 USD.
