Famed industrial designer Marc Newson has teamed up with timepiece publication HODINKEE on a beautifully-crafted hourglass. The limited edition product is as much a timekeeper as it is a sleek piece of home decoration. Inspired by an original design which Newson created for Ikepod, the watch brand he co-founded in 1994 and left in 2012, the hourglass is constructed of hand-blown glass that houses approximately 1,249,996 copper nanoballs which measures ten minutes of time. Highly limited, the hourglass is available now for $12,000 USD.
