Dwayne Johnson Says He's Running for President With Tom Hanks
Watch The Rock and America’s Dad announce their 2020 bid on S.N.L.
After revealing his presidential ambitions in a recent GQ feature, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson announced that he will be running for President of the United States with Tom Hanks on the season finale of SNL.
The wrestler-turned-actor was introduced by Alec Baldwin and then joined by Tom Hanks for a humorous monologue for the season finale of SNL. After saying that he would have never considered running for president before, The Rock announced that he’s now “worried that [he's] too qualified.” The pair joked that, collectively, they would get the senior and minority votes for a possible 2020 bid, all the while wearing honorary robes.
