The realm of fashion is constantly moving, with items in both apparel and footwear categories being dropped every day. Just last week, we saw some exciting collaborations from Supreme and COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT to UNDEFEATED and BAPE. As we look ahead at the upcoming weeks, a handful of highly-coveted items will be dropping in stores. Take a look below at some of the more anticipated releases to look out for.
adidas Originals x BEAUTY & YOUTH adidas Originals Satin Track Pants
Japanese fashion imprint BEAUTY & YOUTH has once again teamed up with adidas Originals, this time unveiling a set of limited-edition track pants. Constructed from a satin-esque material, adidas’ signature Three Stripes and trefoil logo anchor the classic look. Available in a classic black/white colorway and bold navy/orange option, the BEAUTY & YOUTH x adidas Originals track pants are available now for ¥11,000 JPY (approximately $100 USD) at the BEAUTY & YOUTH Nagoya Station location and all BEAUTY & YOUTH stores in Japan starting on April 22. A general release for adidas stores is scheduled for April 28.
LMC x PLEASURES 2017 Spring/Summer Collection
PLEASURES teams up with Seoul-based label Lost Management Cities aka LMC for a collection inspired by cult classic film Oldboy. The capsule features hoodies, flannel shirts, T-shirts, track pants and caps which all feature co-branding and a unique graphical take on the theme of “revenge.” The PLEASURES x LMC Oldboy-inspired items are now available now at PLEASURES online store as well as HIDE/AND/RIDE and Layer locations.
Kappa x Opening Ceremony 2017 Spring/Summer Collection
Italian heritage sportswear label Kappa links up with Opening Ceremony for an exclusive capsule. The four-piece collection is a definite retro throwback, with a Bandana Cohen slim T-shirt in white and navy options, an Authentic Zafers sweatshirt and an Authentic Zaft track jacket all featured in a throwback ’90s navy, red, gray color scheme. The Kappa x Opening Ceremony collection is available now exclusively at Opening Ceremony’s online shop.
Pigalle x Missoni 2017 Spring/Summer Collection
The Pigalle x Missoni collection redefines Pigalle’s ’90s hip-hop culture with Missoni’s heritage and knitwear. Inspired by basketball, the 2017 spring/summer collection uses archival fabrics from between 1985 and 2010, which have been reworked into beige/yellow and blue/purple color variants and applied to everything from varsity bombers, cotton robes, track pants, jersey sweatshirts and T-shirts. The full Pigalle x Missoni collection is available now at colette with drops to arrive at Dover Street Market Ginza and Pigalle stores later this month.
Some Ware Surprise Drop
Cali Thornhill DeWitt and Brendan Fowler unveiled a surprise drop for their label Some Ware. The collection contains two long-sleeved T-shirts and cassettes of Venus X and ASMA’s Putaria Maxima Vol.1 Mix. The drop is available now at Some Ware’s website.
Supreme Week 8 Drop List
According to Supreme Hustle, a handful of graphic-heavy Supreme items will be up for grabs. Offered up in the usual array of bright colorways, Coach jackets, pull-over hoodies, pants and shorts will be part of the drop. On the accessories side, caps and a toy gun that shoots out fake money will definitely be on most lists. Get ready to wait in line on April 20.
UNDERCOVER for GINZA SIX Store Opening
Japanese label UNDERCOVER will be releasing an exclusive collection to commemorate the impending GINZA SIX store opening in Japan. The limited-edition collection will comprise of graphic tees and sweaters, as well as custom denim pants embellished with studs and detachable silk fringes. The capsule will be available for purchase exclusively at UNDERCOVER’s shop at GINZA SIX on April 20.
adidas Originals Beckenbauer Tracksuit 50th Anniversary Edition
Named after legendary German football star Franz Anton Beckenbauer, adidas Originals will be dropping the Beckenbauer Tracksuit 50th Anniversary Edition. The sportswear giant digs deep into its archive highlighting vintage-inspired detailing which can be found on the side zip pockets, full zip with stand-up collar and drawcord elastic waist. Sporting a tonal red and white color scheme, the adidas Originals Beckenbauer Tracksuit 50th Anniversary Edition is set to hit select retailers on April 20.
Eric Elms x AKTR 2017 Spring/Summer Collection
Artist and longtime streetwear collaborator Eric Elms has teamed up with famed Japanese label AKTR. Known for creating fashionable basketball gear, the 2017 spring/summer collection features Elm’s trademark Kilroy motif plastered on the AKTR’s items. His latest designs take on T-shirts, basketball jerseys, shorts, socks, iPhone 7 cases and even a basketball. The collection will be at the Eric Elms x AKTR Pop-up Store in Tokyo’s H BEAUTY & YOUTH location starting on April 21. The items will then also be available at select AKTR stockists.
Fear of God “1987” Collection
Jerry Lorenzo‘s latest “1987” project for Fear of God is an homage to the Boston Celtics — more specifically, celebrating the NBA Finals during 1987 as the Lakers defeated the Celtics. The collection sees a vibrant green colorway on everything from coaches jackets, practice jerseys, drop-crotch shorts, double-striped track pants and hoodies. A four leaf clover motif and Fear of God branding adds a subtle charm in the details department. An “I LOVE L.A.” theme can also be found sprawled throughout the pieces. Fear of God’s “1987” Collection will launch at a pop-up location in Bologna, Italy called Back Door Bottega on April 22.
HUMAN MADE x The Beatles Collection
NIGO‘s brainchild — following A Bathing Ape — HUMAN MADE pays homage to one of the greatest musical bands of all-time, The Beatles. Looking back at the heyday of Liverpool, the collection is comprised of graphic T-shirts and crewnecks all sporting the famous pop/rock band. The items will be sold at STORE by NIGO® and the COLD COFFEE® online store from April 22 onwards, while the black colorway will see a limited release exclusive to Universal Music Japan.
Ruyzdael x Patta Rugby Shirt & EP Collection
Patta has linked up with Dutch rap outfit Ruyzdael to celebrate the release of its debut six-inch. A collaborative rugby shirt emblazoned with Ruyzdael’s motif and a large Patta logo sees a reflective 3M make. On the other hand, the 12” EP has been repacked with a unique sandpaper outer sleeve. The exclusive 12″ and rugby shirt can only be purchased together which will be available at Patta flagships and Patta’s online store on April 22.
YEEZY Season 4 Restock
It’s no surprise that YEEZY Season 4 sold out in mere minutes. But from a recent announcement from apparel connoisseurs END., the collection — which includes Kanye West x adidas Originals Calabasas gear will be dropping in the next few days. Though no specific date has been announced as of yet, keep your eyes on the look out.
