Watch 'Stranger Things' Get Ripped on by the 'Mystery Science Theater 3000' Crew
“The Duffer Mothers must be so proud.”
After years of waiting, Mystery Science Theater 3000 is finally on Netflix. The cult favorite show was brought back to life thanks to a Kickstarter campaign raising over $5.7 million USD in donations. Originally aired on Comedy Central and The Sci-Fi Channel, the show centers around three smart alecks weighing in on a chosen film’s lackluster acting and nonsensical plot, and this time the Mystery Science Theater 3000 crew decided to take on Stranger Things.
In this special promo, Ray and his robots sit down to watch the first episode Stranger Things and pick on everything from the show’s decor to the writing of the Duffer brothers. Watch the clip above. The new iteration of Mystery Science Theater 3000 dropped this past Friday on Netflix.
