PRIVATE POLICY Goes All-Out on Mixing Textiles and Flags for Its 2017 Fall/Winter Lookbook
A bold statement on globalization.

PRIVATE POLICY has released its latest Fall/Winter 2017 lookbook, which highlights the NYC-based label’s mastery in mixing textured fabrics and bold silhouettes with a focus on social political topics. The label’s latest offering is titled “Polycephaly” (the condition of having multiple heads) and features a medley of national flags and textile collages that comment on modern globalization. Contrasting textures such as denim & velvet and quilted fabrics & heavy canvases come together to champion the harmony of seeming opposites, while straps, chains, and harnesses accent the multi-layered garments and their interconnectivity.
