Vans Taps DELUXE for a Special Authentic Makeover
Subtle details hit the classic model.
Having previously teamed up for a special edition Old Skool model, Vans and Tokyo streetwear label DELUXE link up once more for Spring/Summer 2017, this time on the Authentic. The collaborative sneaker maintains its low-key look, boasting a classic canvas upper and rubber cupsole in black and blue colorways. Special details include graphic illustrations on the midsole, signature Vans checkered print on the heel and tongue tab, an icy outsole that reveals more graphics and a vamp construction that allows for a laceless fit. The DELUXE x Vans Authentic will be available on April 29 at DELUXE’s online shop for a retail price of ¥9,000 JPY (approximately $82 USD).
