Originally called Samsara, this Japanese brand rebranded itself as a unisex label now called ANITYA. “Anitya” is the Sanskrit word meaning impermanence, and this label is inspired by Buddhism, taking on a Buddhist attitude of making things. The concept behind the brand stems from the idea of “opposition and harmony,” resulting in designs that are balanced and neutral. Pieces are free-flowing with an earthy palette, from suede brown coats to bold adobe clay-colored pants, while mixing it up with deep indigos and boxy silhouettes, the collection is available at a range of select stockists.
