Nike Announces Its Ease Challenge Winner

After opening the contest back in October, Nike has narrowed down its stiff competition and officially revealed the winner of its Ease Challenge. The competition caters to all athletes while paying attention to those with disabilities with the goal of putting on and taking off athletic footwear an easier process. The standout participant happened to be an engineer from Cheyenne, Wyoming named Brett Drake. Though he described himself as an engineer rather than a designer, Drake can undoubtedly think of himself as the latter thanks to the inspiring words of Nike Chairman and CEO Mark Parker, who praised his overall design.
