In remarks made to R-Sport, Prokhorov revealed his intentions to put “49 percent of the Brooklyn shares up for sale” and that “currently the process is going on and we are looking for a buyer.” Having acquired an 80 percent stake in the Nets in 2010, the Russian entrepreneur took complete ownership of the outfit back in 2015. The Nets have racked up the worst record in the NBA this season, with a 20-62 standing looming over the team.
