James Blake Joins Mount Kimbie On Their First Major Single in Four Years, "We Go Home Together"
It’s been many years since the UK duo dropped an album.
When it comes to the release strategy Mount Kimbie employs, Kai Campos and Dom Maker tend to take their time. Considering the virtues of patience and “all great things take time” adage, listeners also end up with incredible rewards for their dilgience as Mount Kimbie fans. Now, less than two months before the beginning of the duo’s next major North American trek, Campos and Maker have decided to unleash a soulful new Mount Kimble single. Known as “We Go Home Together,” the song pairs together the striking vocals of James Blake with Mount Kimbie’s dreamy, surreal soundscapes. “We Go Home Together” debuts via its official video, which was put together by and stars London underground champion and fast-rising, talented director Lebon. It’s been almost four years since Kai Campos and Dom Maker last released a fully-formed project under the Mount Kimbie banner, but their creative chemistry is stronger than ever.
