Anticipations are high for the release of the adidas NMD XR1 Primeknit in the “OG” colorway. Announced in January of this year and reminiscent of the highly sought after NMD “OG,” this updated iteration as the XR1 model features core black uppers and white soles trimmed with the easily recognizable blue and red plugs. Additionally, the printed heel tabs in white give the pair a clean finish.

As for the release date, Japanese sneaker news site Fullress is reporting that the coveted XR1 OG kicks will drop on May 20. However, it’s still yet to be determined whether that date is a global or a Japan only release. Stay tuned as we get more information, but keep this day on your radar in the meantime for reference.
