Stüssy Collaborative Artist Tomoo Gokita Presents His Third Solo Show "Holy Cow"
The peculiar work will feature in Tokyo this season.
Tomoo Gokita has just announced his third solo show entitled “Holy Cow” in Tokyo. The artist, who was last seen collaborating with Stüssy, has an eclectic list of influences, ranging from American pro-wrestling to Mexican pornography magazines from the 1960s and 1970s. His latest show features works titled “Commemorative Photo,” “Woman Sitting on a Bed,” “Queen with a Fake Beard,” and “Embrace,” which give some insight into where the artist will be going with the direction of this exhibition.
The show runs from March 18 until April 15, launching with a reception that Gokita will attend on opening night.
