Off The Hook x Vault by Vans's Latest Collaboration Is a Delicious Ode to Montréal

California-based Vans has teamed up with men’s footwear and clothing store Off The Hook to recreate its iconic Mid Skool ’77 LX. Creating the perfect ode to Montréal, the OTH x Vault by Vans “Deli Edition” Mid Skool ‘77 LX takes inspiration from the famed Montréal Smoked Meat Sandwich. Not only has the sandwich become a staple dish of the city, it represents the city’s diverse and unique makeup.
The “Deli Edition” features a rich burgundy leather upper, with a premium leather heel counter and toe box in a lighter shade of burgundy. A rye bread-inspired brown leather stripe and a gum tab pulls the look together. The special “Deli Edition” also comes outfitted with Vans’s iconic waffle sole in a deep mustard yellow. Each pair comes with three sets of laces: a mustard yellow, a mayonnaise white, and a coleslaw green. Peek the delicious shoe above.
