Jerrod Carmichael is the latest celebrity guest to be featured in the most recent installment of Complex‘s Sneaker Shopping series. The 29-year-old comedian/actor is widely recognized for his incredibly blunt thoughts and his popular sitcom, The Carmichael Show. Not to mention, he recently launched his new HBO stand-up special 8 this past Saturday. Aside from triggering belly-aching laughs with his sociopolitical jokes spiked with controversy, the soft-spoken comic is also a proud sneakerhead.
In the new episode, Carmichael chopped it up with host Joe La Puma on how sneakers can amplify one’s confidence, how Jay Z refers to him as “the comedian who wears Timbs all the time,” and how YEEZYs are still hot despite Kanye West’s zany, personal statements.
