Netflix Teases David Fincher's Bloody New Series, 'Mindhunter'
Fincher and Netflix reunite for a new serial killer-centric series.
David Fincher and Netflix are back at it as the acclaimed director (Seven, Fight Club, Zodiac, The Social Network) and video platform are following up House of Cards with a brand new collaborative series. Dubbed Mindhunter, the series — which is co-produced by Charlize Theron — is based on John Douglas’ memoir of the same name and centers around an FBI profiler who tracks down serial killers. Fincher aside, the likes of Asif Kapadia (Amy), Andrew Douglas (2005’s The Amityville Horror remake), and Danish filmmaker Tobias Lindholm will all be directing episodes while up-and-comers Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, and Anna Torv star.
Check out the teaser above and stay tuned for a full Mindhunter trailer ahead of its October premiere.
