Carhartt WIP Unveils a Radio-Inspired Collaboration With P.A.M.
Inspired by the days before the internet.
Workwear heavyweight Carhartt WIP has teamed up with Australian streetwear label P.A.M. to create a hard-wearing collection that was inspired by communication in the days long before the internet. The “Radio Club” collaboration is a series of tees, tops, and dungarees that reference the dominance of DB or shortwave radio as a form of communication that began in the 1920s. Personas and DJs would become known through caricatures, cartoons and slogans, which inspired the playful graphics and typography that give personality to this new collection.
For more information, visit the Carhartt WIP website and look for the collection to launch this Friday, March 31.
