Emerging Korean fashion label Sleazy Corner creates unisex garments that reflect the “mood of degenerate popular society in the present.” For its Spring/Summer 2017 collection, the outspoken label focuses on the theme of “Mess media.” Conceptually, the collection explores the corruption and contradiction of mass media and contemporary culture’s obsession with the screen. Stylistically, garments are inspired by office outfits, as seen in the exaggerated button-up shirts and pinstripe pants. The lookbook sees the collection through grainy screens and film photography contact sheets alongside electric lines and satellite dishes.
