'Burning Sands' Takes Us Into the World of Fraternity Hazing
It ain’t pretty.
Netflix is all about original content and this time the streaming giants are taking us into the world of fraternity hazing with Burning Sands. The film chronicles a group of young men facing violent hazing rituals as they try to join a highly coveted fraternity, from early morning burger runs to beatings, branding and more. The film stars an all-black cast with Viola Davis and Common also making an appearance. Already winning accolades at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, make sure to check it out when it drops on Netflix on March 10.
Running on the same theme, make sure to check out the psychological drama Goat which stars James Franco, Nick Jonas and Ben Schnetzer. Check out the trailer here.
