'Pokémon GO' Announces Valentine's Day Event
Pink is the theme.

Niantic, the developers behind Pokémon GO, have announced and launched a limited-time celebration event for Valentine’s Day. For those we still play the mobile game that shattered revenue records, the celebration which starts today at 2 p.m. ET and runs through 2 p.m. ET February 15, will feature a bunch of rewards and perks. Candy will be doubled each time you catch, hatch, and transfer Pokémon while your buddy also finds candy twice as fast. Pink Pokémon like Chansey, Clefable and others will appear more frequently in the wild while Cleffa, Igglybuff and Smoochum will be more likely to hatch from eggs. Finally, lure modules will last for six hours to “help you paint your town pink this Valentine’s Day.”
Best of luck to those still trying to be the very best.
