Nike Debuts All-New Air Max TR 17 in Tan
Drawing design cues from the Air Footscape Woven Chukka and ACG styles of the ’90s.
Nike has unveiled a brand new model for its Air Max family well ahead of Air Max Day. The new Air Max TR 17 takes a lot of design cues from some of the Swoosh’s most popular silhouettes and ACG styles of the ’90s — most notably the woven pattern on the sides and back heel which seem Air Footscape Woven Chukka-inspired. Featuring a neoprene sock construction, the leather tan upper sits atop a blacked out Air unit for contrast and the lacing mechanism is designed to loop in and out of the leather weaves along the side panels in similar fashion to the Air Jordan 10.
The new Air Max TR 17 is available now at selection Nike retailers like Lapstone & Hammer for $190 USD.
