Ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl, the regular jousting for attention between some of the event’s major advertisers has been underway and — with Justin Bieber in the lead role — T-Mobile has just dropped its 2017 commercial, which charts the history of touchdown celebrations. The Canadian superstar dons a tuxedo in his role as “Celebration Expert” as he talks viewers through the sport’s big moments from the caveman era through to present day. As the competition heats up ahead of Sunday’s clash between the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons, expect plenty more major off-the-field talking points courtesy of the event’s lucrative prime-time advertising slots.
