Govaert & Vanhoutte Architects created the ultimate bachelor’s pad in Belgium. Dubbed the Residence VDB, the rectangular, modern and minimalist residence is located downstream from the city of Ghent on the Leie River. Featuring a myriad of glass panes and open space, the layout is ideal for daytime activities with an outdoor pool steps away from a boat dock. In addition, a pool house, kitchen, living room area, and private rooftop terrace all promote living the single life. Hidden beneath the home is a private garage space, wine cellar and cabinet, cigar bar, DJ booth, lounge area and entertainment center.
