'Drive' and 'Neon Demon' Director Nicolas Winding Refn Is Set to Direct a TV Series
The crime thriller will premiere on Amazon Prime.
It was recently reported that Drive and Neon Demon director Nicolas Winding Refn is gearing up to direct his first TV series for Amazon Prime. Refn is set to direct and co-write the 10-episode crime thriller series titled Too Old To Die Young with U.S comic book writer Ed Brubaker. Additionally, according to reports the show will feature an ultra-violent dark tone and will explore the criminal underbelly of Los Angeles while looking at several characters’ existential journeys to redemption. No news on who is slated to star in the project just yet, but stay tuned for more details once shooting begins this Fall.
