White Mountaineering Previews adidas Originals, Wrangler and Danner Collaborations
Rugged goods for Spring/Summer 2018.
Japanese label White Mountaineering is queuing up a trio of collaborations, with exclusives from adidas Originals, Danner and Wrangler all on the way. Encompassing footwear and denim goods, the lineup is due for release before next season.
The gem of the collection is a colorful edit of the adidas Originals Superstar BOOST, which White Mountaineering reworked for a recent adidas Originals by White Mountaineering drop. Colorful lining and Three Stripes branding is juxtaposed with an earth-toned Primeknit, recalling camouflage. A pair of denim staples from Wrangler feature subtle reworked details, with the “124 MJ” jacket offering a drop shoulder and the “11 MWZ” jeans featuring a slimmer, tapered cut. Both are offered with pre-washed fades. Meanwhile, Danner’s take on the postman boot is executed in beige Italian suede, with a chunky Vibram sole and matching laces.
