The Official Redband Trailer for 'Gringo' Focuses on the Hunt for a Weed Pill

Amazon Studios and STXfilms have released the first trailer for Nash Edgerton’s Gringo, starring Charlize Theron and Joel Edgerton. This dramedy focuses on joyrides across the border into Mexico where American businessman Harold Soyinka (David Oyelowo) is to hand-deliver a formula for a revolutionary new weed pill to a laboratory.

However, he quickly realizes things aren’t what they seem, as he crosses the border of an average citizen to criminal, haphazardly involving himself with mercenaries, drug lords, and the DEA.
