It has been almost exactly two years since G-Eazy dropped his sophomore album When It’s Dark Out. Today, the Oakland-based rapper is back with his third major label effort, The Beautiful & Damned, an introspective album about duality.
This 20-track double album marks a change in tone from the artist’s usual fare with features from the top 10 smash “No Limit” with Cardi B and A$AP Rocky. Gerald is joined by his girlfriend Halsey on the “Bonnie & Clyde”-inspired “Him & I,” with more traditional features with Charlie Puth and Zoe Nash.
