Casio Unveils Its GZE-1 Camera for Extreme Sports
Featuring a shock-resistant, waterproof, and dust-proof construction.
Drawing inspiration from the G-Shock watch, Casio International unveiled a durable GZE-1 camera made for shooting extreme sports in harsh conditions. The camera features a “Shock Resist” body that prevents the hardware from getting damaged when users are capturing video while skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, and dancing. Additionally, the camera is water-resistant to 164 feet, impenetrable to dust, and can withstand cold temperatures up to 14 degrees Fahrenheit that brings toughness of shock-resistant G-SHOCK watches.
The video lookbook features the Hong Kong DJ BMX WORKSHOP where they tested the GZE-1 on the streets. With its cool features and rugged look, the camera can be attached on an object or as a handheld camera, making it the essential piece to any adventure. Bumper protectors are used throughout to protect the lens and buttons against drops and impacts, as well as to guide the fingers to the buttons. The video also depicts its Dramatic Slow Motion capabilities which allows the user to highlight dramatic moments such as tricks by showing them in slow motion.
