Disney's 'The Nutcracker & The Four Realms' Teaser Trailer Retells a Classic Tale
Inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann’s acclaimed novella.
Disney has released the first trailer for its upcoming adaptation of the classic story, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. The film is directed by Lasse Hallstrom (Chocolat) and is mostly set in a strange yet fantastical bizarro world that houses the Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers, and Land of Sweets all presided by a crew of mice.
But Clara (Mackenzie Foy) discovers a Fourth Realm ran by a tyrant named Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren) who holds the key to her late mother’s box, which contains a priceless gift.
