adidas Skateboarding Heads to Japan for 'RŌZU'
Introducing new team rider Diego Najera.
Following the late October release of The Splits, adidas Skateboarding once again heads to Japan for the brand’s latest skate video.
Titled RŌZU, adidas Skateboarding’s latest visual introduces viewers to the team’s latest talent, Diego Najera. Besides Najera, Dennis Busenitz, Rodrigo Teixeira, Mark Suciu, Silas Baxter-Neal and other team riders also show up to flex their skills. Most notably, the video shines a light on Tokyo’s vibrant late night scene and is directly inspired by “bloom of the Sakura;” the tones and hues of the visual presentation come courtesy of a special heat-sensing camera. For the soundtrack, songs from Massive Attack, J. Dilla, El Michaels Affair and Cornelius are used.
