Planet Haming Channels Space-Age Imagery for Fall/Winter 2017
“Ego Identity” is only the Korean brand’s second collection.
South Korea’s Planet Haming is set for success, having recently won the Samsung Fashion Design Fund Scholarship. The young label recently unveiled its Spring/Summer 2018 collection, with plenty of eye-catching graphics across a range of oversized goods.
Encompassing a range of outerwear, the brand’s cold-weather goods range from colorful hoodies to jumpsuits with elasticated jogger cuffs. Bold imagery focuses on split faces and references to outer space, with bright colors and embroidery to spare. Outerwear includes a bomber jacket with astronauts and embroidered text on the rear, while an oversized windbreaker sports slits up its side and snap buttons all the way up to the hood, allowing the wearer to cover the lower half of their face.
