Having come to be something of a key silhouette for Nike, it’s now possible to see a sample of the VaporMax in its early form. While still recognizable, the main difference here comes in the form of the upper — eschewing the FlyKnit now commonly seen throughout the range. Instead a slightly more rugged material is used, which is similar to what was seen on a leaked edition of the triple black shoe.

The previously unseen sample of the Nike VaporMax is actually available to purchase from IndexPDX’s web store, coming in a US size 10 and costing $400 USD. Earlier this year a selection of VaporMax designs leaked, showcasing just what the company had planned for the coming year.
