Sitting down with host Sean Evans at New York’s Bali Kitchen, the young artist revealed his knowledge of his homeland. Breaking down the regional origins and flavor profiles of beloved dishes like beef rendang, nasi goreng and satay makassar, Rich Chigga sheds light on the often under-appreciated food of Indonesia. Additionally, Chigga teaches us how to spot a spicy sambal and reveals how Indonesian food in America stacks up to the food in Indonesia.
